The Santa Cruz County Task Force for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, and Questioning Youth (LGBTIQ) invites the community to attend the 11th Annual Queer Youth Leadership Awards on Saturday, April 26th at New Brighton Middle School’s new Performing Arts Center in Capitola.
There are three categories of awards honoring today’s queer youth leaders and their allies:
the Queer Youth Leadership Award
the Ally to Queer Youth Award
the Organizational Ally to Queer Youth Award
The mission of the Queer Youth Leadership Awards is to improve the lives of LGBTIQ youth by increasing the positive awareness of queer youth leadership, and increasing safe and welcoming environments in home, school, and community.
